Dames at Sea -- (Musical Comedy) Kathleen Margevich Director - Will be performed again on Saturday October 23rd at 8:00pm and Sunday October 24th at 2:00pm at the Historic Lorraine Theater in Hoopeston IL.

The scene is big time New York City. In wanders a sweet, innocent girl from some faraway Hometown who has come to make it BIG on Broadway. She meets a Hometown sailor who is also looking to make a big Broadway splash as a songwriter. The girl gets cast in the chorus, but when the shows' star is injured, gets her chance of a lifetime taking over the starring role. In Hollywood fashion the sailor boyfriend saves the show with a new smash tune and a new star is born as the ingenue sings his tune from the deck of a battleship that just happens to be passing by. This winner, gem of a musical will have you tapping your toes and feeling so good!

 A perky, squeaky-clean musical revue of 1960's, 70's songs of togetherness, sunshine and friendship, created and conceived by Rick Lewis the mastermind behind ART's smash hit of 2009, "The Taffetas". Five dedicated young squares are giving their farewell performance after 5 years on the road. This show reminds us all that there was a time, not so long ago, when optimism was the national norm.
