In big time New York City in wanders a sweet, innicent girl from some faraway hometown who has come to make it BIG on Broadway. She meets a hometown sailor who is also looking to make a BIG Broadway splash as a songwriter. The girl gets cast in the chorus, but when the show's big star is injured, gets her chance of a lifetime taking over the starring role. In Hollywood fashion the sailor boyfriend saves the show with a new smash tune and a new star is born as the ingenue sings his tune from the deck of a battleship that just happens to be passing by. We Played the Lorraine!!! Thanks to the great folks at the historic Lorraine Theater in Hoopeston for letting us perform the Taffeta's there. We had a great turnout. Thanks to all of you that come - we hope you enjoyed the show. Please remember to support the Lorraine theater..They deserve it -- and so do you! |
